In 2015, Travis and Nancy Poston left their longtime home of New York City and relocated to Southern California, eventually settling in the high desert city of Twentynine Palms. With years of restaurant and hospitality experience between them, the Poston’s had a dream of starting a bakery in their adopted city. Nancy is an accomplished baker who holds a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from California Culinary Academy SF and her husband Travis worked for some of the most creative bakeries in New York, including City Bakery and Bird Bath Bakery.
Campbell Hill Bakery uses the finest ingredients available to put together their creations. From hearty soups and breads, to delectable pastries and pizza, Campbell Hill Bakery offers something for everyone, whether you're a local or a tourist alike.
Named after the famous 1920’s homesteaders Bill and Elizabeth Campbell, Campbell Hill is a quaint Twentynine Palms location to watch both sunrises and sunsets. During their early years in the high desert, it was a special place for Travis and Nancy to visit, and the bakery is named in its honor.

Our menu is changing daily and some items are subject to be absent so we can make room for other selections. Please view us on instagram or facebook to get an idea of our daily offerings. We serve one customer or party at a time because it's a small store. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait to enter the store, we greatly appreciate your patience! We have bagels most days, we do not toast or slice them, we do offer a side of chive cream cheese for an additional $1. Thank You!
